This trailer is designed to have a 600x400 bin or deck screwed permanently to the trailer frame. Because the wheels are only supported on one side it’s load capacity is much less than the standard and large trailers, but at 25-30kg, it can do a lot of shopping trips and is very easy to handle. Because the wheels are towards the back it is also useful as a hand cart, so you can wheel it through the supermarket instead of a shopping trolley. The 68 litre eco crate from Stowers is very good for this trailer with waterproof lid and made from fully recycled plastic. Wheels must be 12” or 16” otherwise it can roll too easily as the load is all above the axle/centre of gravity and you have to take it more quietly over bumps to avoid that roll. Price is $90 for the kitset frame & hitch.
